Snakes for beginners

A great snake to begin with is a Corn snake. There are many different colour morphs and they are tame and placid. Their habitat will need heating by either a heat mat or ceramic heater. They do not require expensive lighting to thrive.

A Corn snake eats mice, which we sell as frozen. They do not need feeding daily. A hatchling will feed on 'pinkies' and as they grow, the size of food should increase too. They grow to around 5 feet long and will eventually need a vivarium around 2 feet long.
